Homecoming and Spirit Week

It has been a fantastic first full week of school and our entire District is buzzing with numerous sporting events, band competitions, clubs, and more. I am always delighted by the high level of student participation we have at Central Square, as well as the amazing support from our teachers, parents, and community members. Spirit Week has been a blast with elementary, middle, and high school students and staff really getting into the spirit of homecoming week.  This morning I was happily shocked by how many of our students woke up super early to be in the PVM gymnasium for the Channel 9 Friday Morning Lights that spotlighted Central Square. Tune in to Channel 9 and check out their website as it should be posted today (http://www.localsyr.com/). Our homecoming parade begins at 5:30 at PVM High School, followed by the varsity football game. GO REDHAWKS!!! Here is a brief video clip I got early this morning, and although it is a tad out of focus, the passion these students (The Flock) have is contagious!!! (https://youtu.be/ISDQ7omHijA)
See you all at the parade this evening... You can follow The Flock on Twitter @csflock by clicking on the following link: https://tinyurl.com/The-Flock-on-Twitter
